Toddler Education Program
Our Toddler Program provides developmentally appropriate, play based learning with lesson plans following the guidelines of the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards.
Teachers create environments offering opportunities for socialization and interaction, art exploration, free play, gross motor development and music appreciation. We have a large, fenced outdoor play area with age-appropriate climbing and riding toys and covered sandboxes. We also offer two indoor gross motor areas which provide year-round opportunities for exercise.
Preschool programming for toddlers is scheduled daily between 9:00 – 12:00. Wrap around care is offered from 6:30 am – 5:30 pm. CCC provides a morning and afternoon snack along with water, 2% milk or 100% fruit juice.
Parents are responsible for providing lunch, which is served at 11:00 a.m. You may bring lunch from home, or choose to order from our hot lunch menu. CCC provides 2% milk with lunch. Families also provide diapers, wipes and ointments. For extended care schedules, nap time begins at 12:00 and runs until 2:45 pm.
3K/4K Educational Program
Our experienced teachers provide a rich environment that will help create lifelong learners. CCC provides a play based program where children get the opportunity to explore, use hands on activities, problem solve, and discover. An emphasis is put on developing social/emotional skills as well as building independence with self-help skills. Throughout the morning the children are engaged in a variety of activities including: free play, art, sensory, science, dramatic play, stories, group time, gross motor, block play and music. Field trips and in-house programs also emphasize what is being taught and provide enrichment outside of the classroom.
Daily outdoor activities include our large outdoor fenced in playground, bike track, playhouse, and hikes through the 2-acre nature center. Our indoor gym gives children the opportunity to climb on the equipment, crawl through obstacle courses, cruise around the gym on scooters, or shoot balls in the basketball hoops.
Available for families who live both inside and outside of the Menomonee Falls School District. Smart Boards were recently added to offer new technology and additional learning opportunities.
Before/After School Care
In our before/after school age program, children are offered snack, can complete homework, engage in planned activities, and exercise their bodies with both outdoor and indoor time. Social interaction, independence and self-esteem are key areas of development for this age group. Learning how to express oneself and interact with peers is a main focus. The teacher provides a variety of environments and activities that promote and encourage these essential developmental skills. Some of the activities in the classroom include:
- Science Exploration
- Smart Board Learning
- Board Games
- Reading & Writing Activities
- Art & Crafts
- Legos & Manipulatives
- Dramatic Play
In addition to before/after school care we also offer all day care for any days off school, such as teacher in-service days and winter/spring breaks.
Before/After School Care
On days off school, and during the summer, you will be given the opportunity to sign up for care, which is provided at our main location on Christman Road, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m
Children are offered a variety of extra outdoor activities, field trips and in-house programs over the summer. The older children ages 5-12 participate in special camps and classroom clubs designed around their interests. Clubs include cooking, art, sports, science, reading and games.
